Spots on Navigation Screen

Hi all

Just purchased a used 2008 4.8i M Sport in the UK

Small problem though - it has spots on the nav screen which are not coming off. It looks like someone sprayed some kind of cleaner on the dash and may have over sprayed onto the screen.

I cannot take these off. I've tried a damp microfibre cloth, some alcohol moistened lens wipes. Don't want to try anything stronger for fear of damaging it further.

Any suggestions?

The dealer has promised to take care of these, but even he is not sure what can be done so he's looking into it. The dealer is a long drive away and if I can get them off myself, I'd rather do that than spend a day out at the dealers.

Thanks
