Anyone DIY the Oval tips on a 3.0 ?

I'm contemplating the oval tip extensions ... I saw the DIY steps on this forum, just wondering if anyone else has attempted this and what tool did you use to cut the s/steel pipes ?

Thanks in advance....

See if you can get hold of something like these JB, you may be able to hire them from the local Kennards centre

I am going to order the 4.8 exhaust tip and planning to do it myself too. Did anyone try this pipe cutter? I was thinking to use grinding or hand saw to do it. But this pipe cutter seems much easier to work with.

Hey I just changed my exhaust. I have my stock 48i muffler with the tips still on. My car only had 2000 miles on it when I did the install. Do you want to buy them from me?
