my wife's black 2011 X5

X5 for my wife with some modifications....

- extended wheel flares
- style 128 midnight chrome 21" rims
- front window tint

and recently

- performance black grills, painted front mesh, trim around fog lights black, silver front underbody black (see last pic)

wow... your totally pimping her out with that car! Midnight chrome? Def unique. Looks alot like regular chrome in the pics but i am betting better results in real life.

Chrome wheels are popular in Cali, I don't know why. I don't hate it, but every time I do a search, I see Cali cars with chrome OEM Wheels. Car looks great, what's your other SUV that is towing this big boy.

Had the local dealer paint the mesh, trim Sapphire black to match the body color (~$150)....looks great up close!

X5 was towed from Las Vegas dealer, not sure what kind of pickup.

Definitely not feeling the chrome wheels but rest of car looks great. I think 21" style 239s in a gunmetal color would definitely complete the look.

239 is okay but i'm not feeling the V-spoke alloy pattern, looks like trying to pretend you have X5M...

Each to their own I guess but most on here will know that style 239 came out way before the X5M and IMHO does not look like in any way the wheels on an X5M. Completely different.
