I believe the depression near the screwdriver handle is for the "key" to the optional wheel locks. The depression on the right looks to be for a small two-ended open-end wrench.
P.S. There is also a little emergency sunroof closure allen wrench that fits in the grove next to and below the screwdriver blade. BMW has bee cost-reducing the X5, taking things out, such as the cargo cover lift cylinder, tools, stereo speakers, etc. Last edited by Penguin; 08-10-2010 at 06:36 PM. |
