What Are The Difference Between These Two Steerings?

I see different steerings on different cars on Ebay. Some of them have this silver lining around them, some of them have a one piece finish. Which one is better and what is the difference. I hope you understand what I'm talking about.

The one on top is the M Sport Wheel on the ZMP package. It is NOT heated. The bottom wheel is the Sport package wheel from the ZSP package. The wheel is slightly smaller in diameter harder and the leather is much harder/more plastic like. It CAN be heated if you get the Cold wether package ZCP.

If you are interested in the M Sport wheel, the model number is
32307842156 and it is $787.73 - available to order out of Germany - probably 2-3 weeks from getbmwparts.com (Tischer).

Performance steering for $825 less BMWCCA discount is a better deal. ECS tuning may have even cheaper.

How about the other one? The ugly one? Does this one mean, the car doesn't come with Sport Package?

Both the steering wheels you show come with heated steering - The middle button on the right side.

The one with the silver is the sports steering wheel and it comes with the sports package. The other is the standard wheel. I think the sports wheel feels and looks better than the standard wheel

There is a third wheel which comes with the M sports package. This one is not heated on the regular X5 (it is on the X5 M)

I think I got that all right
