TPMS for 20" from discount tires?

Just wanted to know asap if the tpms are good from discount tire.
Car is there putting my 20s on but I don't have any tpms. They want $224 installed!

Quick reply would be great!

If they are OE sensors that seems reasonable. Beru are the OE supplier.

That's not a bad price for OE/OEM sensors.
Without the sensors, you'll get TPMS warning every time you start your car.

We bought the same ones for our winter wheel/tire package and they worked fine. I'm not sure if they're OEM or not, but they worked and that's what mattered. The price is right too!

Good Luck!

Why sad?

Quite possibly only two of the 100 felt they had anything worthwhile to add.

I was one of those who read the message and did not respond because I had no experience with buying a TPMS from Discount tire.

I'm currently in the same predicament, and wondering if I get a new set of tpms and get them installed on my new wheel + Tire package, do I need to get them programmed at my dealer? or will the X5 automatically recognize the new TPMS on the new wheels??

THanks
Nick

BERU is the correct brand. I just had them installed by an indy shop on my winter set, and I had them all tested out last night - all of them managed to sync up just fine with the reader/car's computer.

2010 and 2011 models use the same sensors. Prior to 2010 they had different ones, watch out!

After doing more thorough rrsearch I found out that my truck won't even need tpms since its a canadian suv (I'm in montreal, canada)I'm really glad I found this out before dropping 200-300$ on sensors!

Wait, is this true for the X5? I just picked up some wheels off a 2008 x5 that included the sensors, had no clue that they had changed!?!

I couldn't find any info googling on this - all I see is that the M3 switched in 2010 - is it for sure that the x5 did as well?
