swap out run flats + 3rd row seats

For the guys who swap out the run flats, do you carry a spare? If not, do you just use a tire sealant kit or something like slime?

Or is it possible to retrofit the factory spare and stowage for it?

I do not carry a spare since if anything happens I will just use BMW assist.

With third row there is no way to carry a spare. I use a patch kit/compressor since I switched my Dunlop RFT's to Conti DWS'.

Which patch kit do you use?

Yes you can retrofit the spare however you have to buy all the parts separately as BMW no longer offers a single part number for all parts of the spare. You would need to remove the 3rd row as well if you have it.

Thanks, I don't have the 3rd row, just the storage compartment.

They don't cover tire assistance if you have taken off the original run flats. It is outlined in my coverage document (BMW CA) and has been mentioned by several US posters as well. Maybe you'll be lucky.

How do you like the Contis? Wet and snow traction especially?

Have been fine. No problems in rain and haven't had them in the snow yet. I am in Cinci so doubt will be much of an issue. I only got 14000 miles out of the Dunlops; these have 9000 miles (replaced all 4) with no signs of wear.
