Anybody have experience with this BMW cargo liner?

BMW Accessories - 2011 X5 xDrive 35d SAV:Protective Luggage Compartment Cover

Thinking of using this whenever I have to haul the family labrador to the vet, the park, etc.

Anyone bought it and used it? How was the fit up? Ease of install and removal?

Good buy? Waste of money?

I should get one too. We have a 115 lb English Lab that sheds like crazy. Looks like it would work...

A member of the Bimmerfest E70 Forum has one - I believe it's Sophies Choice. Send her a PM there and I think she will give you an honest answer.

It certainly isn't cheap, hopefully it does the job but $300 for some vinyl sewn together seems a bit unreasonable (but then again they want $1400 for a trailer hitch installed, so go figure!)

Yet another pricey option, no surprises there, but if I spend a huge chunk of time de-furring my black interior of yellow lab hair it will likely pay for itself pretty quickly. Especially when I take it out and see the pristine carpet and upholstry beneath.

We're getting 3rd row for eventual use by our little one and other currently on the way, so I don't like the idea of dog hair getting in there.

Pieces of vinyl, yes...but cut to fit, with mounting points so it stays up. I've used cheaper ones in our old Tahoe and they were all a major PITA to use.

I've got one. I'm pleased I got it. Fits well and protects most of the carpet bits of the trunk area from fur from the dog.
