How to remove white mark on black plastic trim

Hi, My wife had a minor incident where someone opened a car door, hitting the side mirror of her x5 with quite a force. Now there are a couple of white marks on the back side of the mirror, above the top view camera. I have tried a little bit of scratch removal but didn't work. Any suggestions appreciated.

Unfortunately there is no other party here. So, I am hoping it can be fixed without having to resort to a repair shop or dealer. Well, don't ask me how it could have happened but she drove away not realizing what had happened. In fact she was driving with the the mirror hanging by its wire for a while. Amazingly she snapped the mirror back in and as far as I can tell, it is fully functional now (including the top view camera and backup assist.) But time will tell....
