smartphone integration
i just picked up my 2011 x5D and got it with smart phone integration. i have the adapter for my phone and its all hooked up when i plug it in... it doesnt seem to do anything more than the bluetooth connection. i was told i can play my the stored music on my iphone from this. i also got the iphone cable for $400. i tried it with the iphone usb plugged in and out... made no difference (as i read in one of the threads) anyone have a suggestion? or other information...

The one advantage of the smart phone integration is that it used the antenna on the truck for reception which may be important if you have an iphone like I do which gets crap ass reception. Anything to help my signal....

got my answer
PN # 84 21 2 158 682 - it is for the car WITHOUT smartphone, and will not allow you to play music. BUT i need the one PN # 84 21 2 158 683 - this will actually allow me to use the cradle to play music. so i am exchanging my cradle to that PN #
