Looks like those are for a European vehicle. Can those parts be used on a US vehicle?

I don't see how they are going to fit in your 2011 bumper unless you have it custom cut. The e70 pre-LCI had cutouts for the 4.8 tips but the LCI 3.5 does not have the same for the 5.0 tips... Eventually someone will do it but not as cheap and easy as it used to be.

Nice, but it looks like you have to cut the existing bumper and betalink in the new trim pieces to trim out the larger cutouts, but nice find on the new retrofit part - I might have to consider that.
It also looks like that kit will drop the flapper valve in the right side exhaust also as it doesn't show the valve in the pic. Can't find a price on it anywhere though when looking up the numbers, wonder if it is a euro only part?? |

Ya, that topmost piece... that's not fitting in my 35i bumper without some cutting.

The dealer indy said he's done this twice. You need to:
1) cut the existing tailpipe and pull out via the bumper 2) betalink the new bumper piece and wait for it to set. Suggested that you paint it first (if required) 3) then you take the new tail pipe and "feed" it through the bumper/new piece 4) clamp/weld new tail pipe/tips onto exhaust ensuring its all level 5) stand back and enjoy ![]() |
