So, there's a new concept called BMW FAST, and I've heard from a couple different sources that the front end of this vehicle will closely resemble the front end of the next gen x5. Not the styling or lines of the body, but mainly the front (headlights and kidneys).

I thought the same at first but for some reason the German website is referring to it as a "sub x1" model, which seems weird as it looks more sporty and sophisticated than both x1 and x3.

However, if it is an accurate render of the x4 then I wouldn't be surprised if the next gen of the other SAV's in the lineup follow the same lead for angels and kidneys, just like what happened with new 7 series -> 5 series GT -> new 5 series -> likely new 3 series will have same front kidneys and angels (with a sharper dropoff) as new 5...
