somebody hit the back of my X5 tonight

wtf...I was standing still at light when he must have hit me about 2-3 mph..the rear aero kit part is cracked.that shot.. the bumper looks somewhat ok..no marks on it but i noticed the one side is slightly off. ill have better look in daylight..2 questions..can the bumper be adjusted without replacing it? 2. can i purchase just the rear aero part without the complete kit? dealer is closed now.. ill find out tomorrow but its bugging me now that im not sure on the 2 things..any answers besides wait until tomorrow?

Why bother? It was his/her fault, have everything repaired correctly and completely at their expense.

I agree. Get it done right. His insurance will pay anyway.

Yep, do it right - there can be a lot of damage without your bumper looking bad from the outside, may bent and cracked pieces behind the bumper that affect the performance of the bumper. It was someone else's fault, make sure it is fixed fully and correctly - those minor bumps can be a couple grand easy all said and done!

thats annoying, well i guess you could try and sell the rest of the kit on ebay or here..

or you may be able to find just the rear piece on ebay or RealOEM.com

^ I think if it's 1 part number then that's the way it's gotta be. Really sucks it happened... did they catch some ice or something trying to brake? This is why we have license plate light mods! It shows you REALLY care about your car so stay the F back.

Uninsured/Underinsured coverage will handle it - and I don't think your company can charge you for it.
