I think titanium silver might. Maybe sterling grey. But I don't think sterling grey is available for the e70. Something equivalent would.

i remember on my ti silver e53, rock chips would show up as black dots...

I don't think it matters, but I think that non-metallic paints (like Alpine White) are easier to touch up when you do get rock chips.

Generally lighter colors have light undercoats and chips and defects are less obvious. Even a grey will show more that silver or white. Black of course the worst

Yeah, Alpine White is great. Titanium Silver and those champagne/beige tones are good too!
