Question Transmission fail 3.0si

Car have washed in cold weather...after one day i have this error-car not driving, transmission back automatically on P position after any step.
After one night parking- i put on D position success and drive 100mls with absolutely no problem(all mode, all speed),them take this error again
I think car need heating, and i don't know what location i need to heat.

It automatically shifts back into P when trying to move forward or reverse if any door is not closed all the way. Are you sure they all were?

Was there any error in the idrive? The only transmission-related problem I've experienced was 2 times in 3 years - in my driveway it wouldn't shift from P, into D or R to begin with. I had to shut off and turn it back on.

All doors have been certainly closed.
You switch in position D - mode D is lit but in a second automatically comes back in P

There is a service bulletin on this issue, I believe. Bring it to the dealer should it occur again.

OP's location is that ever-helpful "World"...on the same level as "earth" or other non-answers....so we actually don't know if there was an actionable SIB in whatever area of the world he may be in...

There is a reason your location is listed.... it helps people provide more applicable advice.
