I was able to reset the indicator, however what I ended up doing was inadvertantly set it such that the next oil change won't be needed until 2013! Does anyone know of a way to change it back to the correct date? Please help, I've searched as best I could already without any luck. Thanks. |

You can't change it back through the cluster, but it can be done through the diagnostic equipment. You just tell it what mileage and date the last change was done and it recalculates the remaining time till service. If you still have maintenance coverage you'd want to bring it in to fix this to avoid disrupting the service cycle, if not and you do the oil changes yourself you can note down when it is due again and just reset normally it when you do the oil change.

Yeah...I've got no warranty left. So it looks like I'll have to manually keep track of the mileage for a couple of years.
Thanks for the responses. |

Check out the "Articles" section at the top of the page. I believe the reset procedure is there.
