Some pics if my week old X5 Sport

Finally had a chance to clean it, and it's a sunny day. Here they go:

Yesterday I put in the GP Thunders in the Angel eyes, and installed the Mtec LED license plate bulbs. Front windows are tinted to match the rears, and I had the reverse light strip darkened.

AWESOME, really beautiful! Where did you purchase the mtec LED license plate lights? Is it just bulb replacement inside the light bulb housing, or does this involve resistors, electical tape and "mickey mousing"? Easy to do? I thought the LED license plate lights looked great on my 2010 750i.

I know we pay a lot less for our BMWs than many countries do, but when the 3 Series has LED Corona Rings, LED blinkers and LED license plate lights...and our "new" LCI E70s do not...it really annoys me!!

Tell me about it. When I saw my amber halo rings I was wondering WTF ! I got the license plate LEDS on EBay. They took seconds to put in. Old module snaps out, unplug. Plug new one in. Snap back in. They were 50 bucks.

How does the LED brightness level of the angel eyes and license plate blub compare to other OEM BMW application. Less bright, more bright, equal?

What did you do tint the taillight? Looks good.

The Angel eyes are not LED. GP Thunder bulbs. Excellent improvement for $15 bucks. The LED license plate light is as bright , if not a bit more than on my E92. Yes, I had my tint guy ONLY tint the reverse light strip. I'm not a fan of blacked out tail lights.

Can you post a link to the auction on eBay, so I can see the seller and get the exact LED license plate lights? No error codes? Works well?

Thanks a lot. I really want LED lights for the license plate, like my 750i had. Looks so good at night!

PM sent. I experimented with a couple of different fog light bulbs the last few days. Ended up going with the Piaa Crystal Ions. The yellow. Work great at night and fog.
