A guy made them for his X6. They are just the stock ones wrapped in CF. Purely for asthetic purposes.

I'm tempted to vinyl wrap my running boards as well. That looks mighty nice. Any link to the original thread? I want to see what this looks like mounted.

That's not Vinyl. I would not do that to my running boards. This is real CF.
