Vandalized
So my car got vandalized the other day.
They stole both my side view mirrors, just the mirrors, all the center caps and emblems. Had to get the mirrors installed so i could drive, which costs $1500 for both. Going to see the insurance company on Weds, for reimbursement, but it's still a pain in the ass and -minus the deductable.

I feel your pain. Though I have the e53 X5 and only my drivers side mirror was stolen. I had to pay a little over $1200 for the drivers side mirror but of course insurance covered it but still had to pay the deductable.

Yeah, it's a pain. Side markers were also stolen. Just have to go through the process to get everything replaced.

The mirrors have three big screws through the door sheetmetal. How did they break them off, with an sledgehammer? Or do you mean just the mirror glass?
