Access is under the hood at the firewall-remove a couple of covers, slide out the old microfilter, slide in the new one, and reinstall the covers. Done.

Perhaps order two or three so you have them when you need them again. Maybe get a oil filter/change kit or two. I will only buy OE BMW parts, for the most part, so I use BMW dealers- internet stores or brick. Sometimes I shop for price, sometimes not- depends on the urgency. But I always know what I am paying and how it compares to the best prices. A |
