I was wondering the same. But I have 20mm on my 275s for the winter--it worked in the Carwash. I think with the 315s, you may have an issue.
Wash it yourself!

To me out of all the x5 that are running with spacers those seemed to be the most consistent mm for there 315. I mean I almost went with 30

Why would having spacers or not have anything to do with anything? 315 is still 315 wide, spacer or not. Right?
It will be fine, I take it to a touchless and it fits. |

With all do respect... I am not sure why nobody else is curious as to...how you could even think about bringing your X5 through a carwash with a track?? Do it yourself, or at least locate a hand wash if you are that lazy??

How can you wash your own car in this weather? The water would freeze and create an ice skating pond in your driveway! My hose is sealed up for the winter. Besides, who has the time between work and picking up the kids anyway?
![]() Tell you what. I've tried all the hand washes in my area and in the winter a good machine wash place will do a better job IMO. It's because these guys don't wash or dry the car as well in the sub freezing months the way they do in the warmer months. PLUS, at least the place where I go, BIG RED in North Bergen, has state of the art machines that is very forgiving on the paint. I've been using them for years on all of my cars/BMW's (all with clear bras) and never had a problem. For the record, I'm "that" guy detailing his car all the time in his driveway so I would notice any little imprefection.

I've tried washing in the cold... can't last more than 5 minutes with hands freezing up and going numb in that bucket of water.

Do you even know what a touchless carwash is? Google is your friend.

Depends on the wash facility...spacers shouldn't make any difference, it's the tire size vs track width. Some tracks are wide enough others simply aren't.
