This is my second Alpine White E70. I think it is one of the best colours on this model, especially with the Sport Package and staggered 214s (I do not care for Alpine White on non-sport packaged E70s though).

We had a Sapphire Black X5 4.8is. While easier to keep clean than "flat" black...it still shows dust and dirt & is very hot in the summer. Also, rock chips are more noticeable on dark colours. It is a pretty colour though.

I love Platinum Gray. I too love how the colour changes depending on light and weather.

Even though the Alpine White looks HORRIBLE in rainy and/or winter weather....AW just looks amazing on the E70. I say I will not get it again because of the dust and how bad it looks in wet weather...but I probably would, because when it's clean...it looks great. Also, cooler in really hot, summer weather.
