Im undecided on which color to order. These are my choices:

Alpine White
Black Sapphire Metallic
Platinum Gray Metallic

Please post a pic of your X5 in any of these colors! I'm leaning towards the Black. Thanks in advance!

Platinum Grey Metallic. Personally, I would have gone with Alpine White, but the dealership made a strong case about how that color was losing popularity in Europe and that resale would be affected.

My vote is for Sapphire Black. Not many have Jet Black and I'm OK with that :-)

+1 for the Platinum Grey. I never heard the resale speach but just love the color and how it seems to change (based on pics I have seen) based on sun position etc.. Great color and with the Oyster interior I ordered the contrast will be awesome (IMO).

This is my second Alpine White E70. I think it is one of the best colours on this model, especially with the Sport Package and staggered 214s (I do not care for Alpine White on non-sport packaged E70s though).

We had a Sapphire Black X5 4.8is. While easier to keep clean than "flat" black...it still shows dust and dirt & is very hot in the summer. Also, rock chips are more noticeable on dark colours. It is a pretty colour though.

I love Platinum Gray. I too love how the colour changes depending on light and weather.

Even though the Alpine White looks HORRIBLE in rainy and/or winter weather....AW just looks amazing on the E70. I say I will not get it again because of the dust and how bad it looks in wet weather...but I probably would, because when it's clean...it looks great. Also, cooler in really hot, summer weather.

Syndicate - thanks! That's exactly what I was looking for good quality personal pic's! It looks real clean. A few more pics like that of all the colors I would be able to choose.

I'm really a jet black fan as my last 2 cars were black but as we all know swirl marks, water spots, light screeches can drive you nuts. I got real good with detailing but spending half your weekend with the porter cable blows...

We were in Downtown LA for dinner Saturday night. An X5 just like yours parked next to me. My wife says " it looks nicer in white "....Needless to say she ticked me off !!! :-/
