Keep us posted about the vibration!
Maybe you (and others) took on the role of the squeaky wheel that got this thing into bulletin status. You pay for one or two of these with your time, and benefit from (hopefully) many more where others have done the complaining for you.

I know, in an ideal world BMW (or whoever) would catch these things and fix them on their own, but the way the competitive environment is, who can afford a 100% program like this? At least it's not like GM in the '70s and '80s where the customers essentially were paying testers of cars that were shamelessly put on the market with very little actual QC.

Is the motor mount mechanism same in gasoline vehicles or is it just diesels?

Almost want to buy the Bavarian Technic scan tool. But at over $700 it's way too expensive.

Just diesels. Gas engines don't need it.

UPDATE:
Received an email from the service advisor stating:

THE CODE 4BC3 YOU PROVIDED WAS A GREAT HELP.

OUR TECH FOUND A SERVICE BULLETIN THAT DIRECTS US TO REPROGRAM THE ENGINE
MANAGEMENT MODULE WITH UPDATED SOFTWARE.
WE CAN ADDRESS THIS WHEN YOU BRING THE VEHCILE IN FOR THE OIL CHANGE WE
DISCUSSED YESTERDAY.

LET ME KNOW WHAT DATE AND TIME WORKS BEST FOR YOU

Thanks for the email. Is it possible to drop the vehicle off on Saturday and pick up a loaner? If so, I can drop in off in the AM. Any word from the technician regarding evaluation of the engine mounts/solenoids? (That is my main concern since that is what is noticeable during daily driving).

I DON'T HAVE LOANERS AVAILABLE FOR YOU TO DROP OFF SAT. OUR EARLIEST AVAILABLILTY WOULD BE WED.

LET ME KNOW WHAT DAY & TIME WORKS BEST FOR YOU.
