opinion please....E53 20" style 87 on a E70?
by the looks of it, i should be bringing home an E70 4.8 this weekend.  with 19" factorywould you put the staggered 20" 87's on your E70?  the 3.0 is being traded w/ stocks 17's. would you try n sell the 87s and get either Style 215 or 214? your opinions will help. http://www.wheels-and-rims.com/cgi-b...p_prodid=21196 pic of rim Last edited by E53BX; 02-08-2011 at 02:47 PM. E70 uses center bore of 74.1mm.
E53 has center bore of 72.5mm. You need to use hubcentric rings that convert to the larger 74.1mm bore size. IMO... Sell those 87's and buy a set of E70's.

If your Style 87's are OEM and in good condition then I would consider a straight-up swap for a set of OEM Style 214's that I have. PM me if interested.

Hub centric rings are not the OP's solution...if those 20" Style 87 wheels are oe or oe replica sized, those hubs are smaller diameter than the E70 hub. Thus, the OP would have to have those wheels machined to the larger hub size, to fit on E70 hub.
E53 has PCD5x120 center bore 72.5mm and M14x1.5 bolt thread E70 has PCD5x120 center bore 74.0mm and M14x1.25 bolt thread. I love/lust after Style 87 wheels, but I would go after E70 rims, if it were my car. GL, mD
