Finally got my ride
After 1.5 months of waiting, I finally picked up my X5 last Friday.
I only have these two pics from my iPhone when I picked up my car. BTW, anybody have any idea how I can replace the orange reflector with a painted one or clear, I have searched but seems like no one is selling any 2011 M-packaged reflector. Thanks! ![]()

wow looks great.
Make sure you 3M all the parts to avoid chipping. Isnt the reflector the same as the normal?

Thanks Naz!
I wanted to get the reflector changed before doing the 3M. As my dealer told me it's going to cover the reflector for the whole front bumper. Also my dealer has no information on rear door panel chipping issues with the m-package equipped vehicles. I have no idea where I can purchase 3M for those spots or does it have to be custom made? |

Is 12 oz aerosol spray enough to cover both? Those reflectors are huge! |

1/3 of the 12oz can is way more enough for 2 reflectors. you will also need 12 oz. Touch Up High Gloss Clear Coat and 12 oz Aerosol Plastic Parts Adhesion Promoter. also you need a new roll of 3M molding tape to replace the old one, once they are off they don't stick anymore. very important, take time to apply paint, spray thin coat one feet away per each coat till it covers all. let them dry before other coat (i wait about 20 to 25 min per coat). and make sure no dust around. it is a great weekend project |
