Thumbs up Update: CPO woes resolved :)

UPDATE2:now there is an engine problem that is being resolved on this x5 that I only drove a couple days. I'm going to try to get my money back.

UPDATE: It is now the one week anniversary of owning my X5. It started having issues after 3 days so I called customer service and they were very responsive. So, I took my new (certified pre-owned) baby in for the appointment yesterday. I told them about the battery light, radio issues, the orange factory? light, a windshield chip and the lojack installation. Thankfully, they are fixing all of the issues that I found for free. I'm glad to say that the customer service was excellent at Steven's Creek BMW... Even though the car has issues. They also called me back to inform me that there was a scratch and they could "take care of it" for me. I said yes but it'll take a week to fix though.

I'm hoping my issues were just a hiccup and I am looking forward to the joys of ownership for years to come (I'm an optimist )

p.s. I need to change my user name to NoLemon

Good news to hear ~ especially on a Friday! If they didn't cheerfully cover all that, what's the point of all the hoopala over "CPO"?!?!

Thanks for posting this. Very nice response from your dealer - I wonder if this is to be expected from every CPO regardless of dealer? I ask because I may be going CPO for my next Bimmer.

Great! Enjoy your new car and the weekend!! I have dealt with Stevens Creek BMW twice, even thoug I live in Los Angeles. They seem great and very customer oriented!

I bought my X5 CPO from Steven's Creek and was treated pretty well. Had a sticky HVAC button that they insisted they take care of before I left to drive to Vegas.

The "detail" that had been performed on the X5 was anything but a true "detail", however. That was my only complaint, really.

Glad your issues were taken care of for you.

Good news: I got a call that my car was ready today. However, the customer relations person said she didn't like the way they repaired the chip in the window and asked if I would like a new windshield for FREE instead... I said YES, of course! So I get to wait a couple more days to get it back but I'm stoked that it will look brand new.

Anyone want to take odds on the final outcome?
