2011 X5 35i 200 Miles Check Engine Light On
Took it in to the dealer on Saturday, they had it plugged in all day but couldn't get a code. The reason given was there was an issue with their terminal. This morning they called and said it was a dmtl code (don't know the exact code yet) which is a known issue and they fixed it by updating the software. Has anyone on this forum had the same issue with thier new X5 and what were you told and was it fixed? Thank you to everyone for your feedback. Here are the codes: 3227 & 32E5. It was fixed per SIB 122410. Last edited by aminh; 03-01-2011 at 07:10 PM. |

I believe the dmtl pump is the pump which pulls a vacuum on the fuel/emissions system to test it for leaks.
