I have to agree with you on the Range Rover. I've owned one and probably would get another (despite the problems it had). The new one (2010+) is absolutely fantastic. I went back and fort for days on which to choose and ended up with another X5. It really came down to gas mileage, dependability and inevitable glare in the Nav (Florida sun). The 4.8i I had last never lived up to my expectation when driving the old RRS. Funny thing is, the new X5 50i does. Maybe its the Nappa leather, the silky transmission or the 5.1 or so seconds to 60mph but it really did it.

Question - I know magazines always compare the Range Rover Sport Supercharged to the X5M, but isn't it closer in stats to the 50i? The X5 M absolutely blows it away in every which way. The 50i is still a bit faster but more relative in all ways including price!

Still a big fan of the Land Rover and will definitely entertain it again in 2 years when the new one comes out. Lots of luck with it! (Im secretly jealous)

Old a gorgeous 2009, not a single issue, warranty was fantastic. The people who can't afford Range Rover's come up with these myths to make them feel better settling for the cheaper edition SUV's. Otherwise, the 2009+ models are bar none, no issue cars. Check out the Range Rover forum, there are more problems on this X5's first page than 5 months of Range Rover Forum's history.

Nah, my dad actually drives a Honda Accord. Unlike you who had to pull money out of your 401K, I bought my range rover at 23 years of age, and sold it 6 months later for a profit of 5K. I'm a wholesaler buddy, I don't keep any car more than 3-4 months. No go enjoy your base X5 that you leased 70 months to bring down your payments.

Really, is this suppose to impress me? Be careful with your assumptions young man. Not everyone is as poor and inadequate as you believe. You'd think being a car wholesaler, aka "car salesman" you'd have your dad rolling in something a little safer than an Accord. I'm jusy saying... Something you may want to learn "People who talk about how much they have and assume how little everyone else has, typically don't have jack."

Oh, don't you like my picture of my base X5?
