Angel eyes turn on when unlock...
Couple days ago, dealer installed tow hitch and updated the software. Now the angel eyes wont light up when i unlock. I changed the welcome light setting and it doesnt work. Is there a trick to get it to work? Or did the software update mess it up? Thanks Franklin

Make sure it's in the A(auto) light switch position... If not call up your dealer.

Dial it all the way to the right, the on position.

I have a 2011 X5, and my Angel Eyes have NEVER gone on when I unlock the car. Not once! But, our 2010 M6 upon unlocking; the Angel Eyes do come on.
Is something wrong with my '11 X5, since my eyes do not illuminate upon unlocking? |

i know this thread is old, but I just want to say thanks! I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure out why my angel eyes and taillights don't light up when unlocking. I tried everything, even checked the coding with a usb D-can.
I tried your trick and it works! |
