Creaking window

My 2011 X5 driver side window is creaking. Anyone else has this issue?

Does it do it when the window is open or only when it is closed?

When it's closed. And when it's partially opened. I think it's the swade in the window frame.

mine does it on the passenger side. I notice it only does it when I push the button up when it's already up to make sure it's all the way close.

I make sure my window is all the way up. I'm going to try fixing it myself.

For the passenger side, there is a TSB. Had mine fixed last week and BMW has the solution for it. Symptom is noisy door when window is closed.

I didn't ask about the drivers side.

My X5 is a 2011.

HeyBigx5er, does your work order list the number for the TSB? Mine is going in at the end of the month.

Thanks

WTF? First it's the driver seat creaking/clicking (parts must be backordered, since I have not heard back from my SA) and TODAY I was backing out of my driveway (all windows fully closed) and my driver's window (although it sounded like the entire driver's side)...creaked and moaned so bad, it sounded like a wooden bucanner ship!! It now does it everytime I go in and out of a driveway, or when the torsional rigidity of the car is exercised. So annoying and disappointing!

4000 miles, 6 months and NO problems...and then BAM!! I love my car, and the 35d engine makes me happy every time I drive the car..but the interior quality/build quality is beginning to worry me.

Anyone have the driver's window fixed? Please post SIB #. THANK YOU!!
