So my X5-35d has been built since last Friday. Initially I was told it was getting put on a truck and would be in Chicago by Weds/Thurs. Now I'm being told it is still sitting in SC waiting for a truck. Ugh!!! Anyone else have a problem like this?

Hey - at least yours has been built!

Mine's been on order since 4/23, and isn't due to be built until the end of May!

Is that tracking info from the BMW website, or from your CA?

Website has said at Preparation Facility since last Friday. CA told me on Monday that it should be in Chicago by Weds/Thurs. CA is now telling me that it is still in SC waiting for a truck. Called BMWNA and they told me the same thing, released to ship but still in SC.

I feel like a kid waiting for Santa at Xmas.

OK - from this point on the website will mostly lie / be wrong

. I bought a 335 in 2007, and the website still shows it as "at preparation facility"!

As a matter of interest - how long did you wait at "Status 112 - Scheduled for daily production pack" before build, and was your build the same week that your dealer predicted when you ordered?
