Just placed order for a Sport Activity...

The lease on my 2008 X5 is almost done and I just placed an order for the following:

2012 BMW X5 xDrive35i Sport Activity in Black Sapphire with Oyster interior

PACKAGES:
Convenience Package
Technology Package
Cold Weather Package

OPTIONS:
Running boards
Comfort (multi-contour) seats with lumbar support
Dark Bamboo wood trim
3rd row seat
BMW Apps

PRICES:
MSRP $67,275
Invoice $61,875 (according to Edmunds)
Sale Price $61,000
Note Money Factor is 0.00170 and residual value is 58% in May for 15k miles per year over 3 year lease

Should arrive in a month or so. This is the first time we have got the 'same' vehicle twice in a row so obviously we love the X5. We also looked at the Lexus GX460 (we had a a GX470 before the current X5) and Audi Q7.

Congrats on your deal. What is the lease payment equate to? Just curious.

Also, did you ever consider buying your current X5 off lease? That is the direction I'm headed. Buyout is $40K. To replace my car as currently equipped would be $76K and my car only has 28K miles and has been trouble free.

That looks to be $750 per month + tax.

Yes it came to $780 plus 9% PA tax.

And it's already at the dealership - built and delivered to dealer in just a week instead of the 6+ weeks I was quoted. I will pick it up in 10 times days time when I drop off my '08 X5. Tough to wait...

How Did you get .00170? The published BMW FS rate for May was:
58/.00200 for the SA. Did you negotiate that or did you go elsewhere?

He likely put down MSD (multiple security deposits) to lower the rate...

Loyalty bonus - existing customers of BMW Financial Services get a 0.0003 discount off the MF, hence I got 0.0017 as I already have an X5 and a 535i.

Man, now I can't even find dealers who are going to offer me the .0020 rate and want to gouge me with a MF of .00235 and higher. I can get a Porsche Cayenne at .0024
