4.8 Air Conditioning Fan Stops, then restarts
Has anybody had any problems with their X5 Air conditioning coming to a dead stop (almost like if you put a stick into a fan slowly), then restarting about 2-3 seconds later? Not only does it happen once in a while, but the sound is just about equivalent to a stick in a fan... I thought a motorcycle was passing me by the other day WHILE we had the music up loudly... any ideas? ~ J |

I had this same exact problem twice in the last week. You ever resolve? Anyone else have the problem?

I have not had the issue, I have had the auto climate control blow hot air like mad after turning on the car though. Was used to climate control not allowing hot air flow if the temp of that air is below the selected temp. The car would wait to aggressively send air out until the hot air was vented out. Same goes for cold air in the winter, the car will not freeze you out, it will wait until warmed up and an offer the right temp.

It could be a sign that the FSR is starting to fail.
