Does anybody have wallpaper-worthy DSB pictures of Premium model?
There are some here: http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...-sea-blue.html but pix are small, and there is one gorgeous one here, but it is sports package New Deep Sea Blue 2011 X5 on order - Page 2 - XBimmers.com | BMW X6 Forum X5 Forum

It's disappointing that BMW is now using the bronze-only for their advertisements. I actually wanted to get that bronze, or the red color, but I figured they would look too flashy and would draw unnecessary attention.

Thanks, it looks excellent, the difference is you got sports package with wider rims & flares, and I assume the Premium package does not come with silver nostrils. It makes a big difference in looks, especially the rims.

Here ya' go..

Personally I think silver looks great on some cars but not on the X5 with all the black plastic. I have a DSB and love it. It's a special order color so it's a lot rarer too. I didn't wash my car for the first month and it was pretty dirty, but it will stay good for at least a week or two, not as bad as black IMO. No regrets for me.

Here's some good pics for you to look at. It was a little overcast that day so it looks a little darker than usual.

Kagusman, I like those rims. Are they also 19"?
I see some with silver grill (nostrils) , is it an option? I don't see that listed in "build your X5". Or is it aftermarket.

If it was a small car then i'd say go for whatever colour you want! It would only be a quick wash job.

The x5 is a motherload of a car to wash and seriously takes me twice as long to wash as all of our other cars due to the size and having to climb on the running boards and rear wheel to clean it. For that reason I personally like light colours on large vehicles as it means that you dont need to wash it as often because the colour hides the dirt more, thus don't need to clean as often nor worry about swirls as much, if at all!

Thanks. Rims are 19" 335 rims that come with SAP (Sport Package) with all seasons tires. 20" summer sport tires, 214 rims and fender flares are an upgrade from what I got.

I'm not sure if this is right, but I think that SAP also includes the titanium grill vs the normal silver one. You can do a search on here to be sure.
