Roof rack question

Hi all,

Will E71/E70 roof rack (part # 82710 404320: picture attached)
cross bar fit on E53 (part number 82710 415053).

According to my forum search the answer is yes. According to the
dealer the answer is no.

Can someone confirm if they fit. Appreciate the help.

Depends on which roof rails you have.

If they are the flat "blade" rails that are on the X5M or M Sport then no.
If it's the other rails yes.
