Finally ordered, 2011 X5 Diesel

Finally, after lurking on this forum since 2006, I pulled the trigger and ordered a 2011 X5 diesel. Information I gained from this forum helped me greatly in making the deal, and choosing options.

The wait is going to kill me. Specs as follows:

Jet Black
Cinnamon Brown
Light popular trim. Wanted brushed aluminum, but they say its not available on diesel
Sport Activity Package
Cold Package
Premium Package
Rear Climate
Technology Package
Multi contour Seats
Running Boards
Space Saver Spare
Sat Radio
BMW apps
Ipod and usb adapter

My previous ride I traded in was an E60 545i. I'm going to miss it, but I'm sure I'll forget about it fast.
I noticed they have added Self Leveling Suspension on my build sheet at no charge. I did not order it, but will welcome it as I intend to tow. I did not order the third row seats.
I feel like a 6 year old on Christmas Eve!! Excited!!

Just tell you're dealer you want to do priority 1 on the Aluminum trim. They will make it happen for you.

I have Aluminum trim on my 09 diesel. Its super nice .. and looks good, but you have to be very careful with it. It is very easy to scratch and ding, even if you are careful ... just so you know. :-)

I had it on my 545. I know it scratches easy, but its metal. It's easy to remove the scratches with a scotch brite pad
