how do the rear window shades work? do they have to be removed in order to lower the windows?

Again, we are talking about the small 3rd row windows. There is no ability to open those. So these shades just snap into the window frame.

How much did you get them for?
I was quoted 244 for the whole kit, which I dont need, because mine came with the rear passengers ones, thanks again.
That part # is for the 3rd row smaller window and the rear window only.

There is a separate part number for the passenger windows, but like you I didn't need those, since my car had the factory rear window blinds.

Has anyone seen or tried the one for front passengers? It supposedly covers 2/3 of the front passenger, keeping the rear view mirror area uncovered.
