I just replaced all 4 tires on my '07 4.8 with non-runflats. I'm in a metro area and have BMW assist active so I figure a tow truck won't be too hard to reach. Prior to this, I had to replace 2 runflats because of nails in the tread bottom that would otherwise have been $25 repairs.

Do you feel any difference in ride quality or handling?

Not the same species of car, but I run my '02 VetteVert with non-RFTs and obviously, no spare. Just finished an 8 week, ~13,000 mile road trip with no tire problems, other than a lot of rubber worn off.

A small compressor and plug kit in trunk; never needed.
