Just took delivery of my 2012 3.0D! Ride is so smooth!
I can't believe how much of a difference having the sport package makes on the vehicles' ride. I'm planning on upgrading to non-staggered 20" wheels with 275's non-runflat tires all around. For those of you who have X5's without sport suspension but have 20" wheels, should the ride using non-runflat 275/45/20 be about the same as having the 255/50/19 WITH Runflats? Overall I'm glad I opted for a non-sport suspension X5, it makes a big difference! Any comments would be appreciated! Last edited by catgo; 08-08-2011 at 01:41 AM. |

Thanks so much! its jet black w/beige interior. Already ordered the aluminum mesh grilles from getbmwparts.com, expecting them late this week. Also planning on changing the wheels from 19" 334's to 20" 336's or 333's w/out the runs flats. Concerned about making the ride harsher though even though I'm told that ditching the run flats should compensate for the 19 to 20" upgrade. I certainly hope they're right!!!
