My Microfiber Burrito Came in from IND (LCI Front Reflectors)

Thanks to IND my reflectors are finally in. I've gotta mention that I admire INDs custom work so it was only natural to order from them when I noticed they offer this service. Plus, with a good rep here from other fellow members it was a no-brainer. I know, not a big deal but if you are gonna get a paint-matched piece it should be top-notch so it doesn't look like $hit next to the rest of the car.

Should be installing these bad boys next week at some point with the Style 215s.

Here's some pics below. Standard LCI X5 Reflectors (w/o Cameras) in Vermillon Red Metallic. Sorry the pics aren't great. Taken on my cell phone, office is lowlight so unfortunately you can't see the color in all its glory. and a PShop below to hopefully what she will look like when its all said and done.

Big thanks to NATE at IND Distribution. Top notch work buddy. Safely wrapped and packaged.

Those will look fantastic brother. I have space grey metallic so I am gonna go the clear marker route but I absolutely think the paint match on that color was the right choice. Please post some pics when you get everything sorted. Have good time!

Where will you get the clear ones from? IND told me they couldn't get those and so I bought the painted ones instead. I think I still prefer the clears. I received my burrito today. Still wrapped.

I've also been waiting for clears since I have a white vehicle. If anyone hears about the clears being available for 2011-2012 models please post up.

And we now see benefit #2, owning a pre LCI e70. Clear side marker availability.

First benefit of course being I can afford it

I will keep a look out though.

Thanks man. The best thing about White through Black is that the clear looks so sharp. Will do, can't wait to get these little bits taken care of.

I haven't seen any clear LCI reflectors. I looked around and couldn't find anything. For the price of the painted ones I think its a great deal. What color do you have?

The cheapest I've seen on eBay for pre-LCI was $26. Most vendors sell the pre-LCI for about $70 shipped. So if the LCI ones do end up coming out it should be a while before they get really cheap. You should consider just getting the IND paint-matched ones. For $75 shipped I don't think you could ask for more. White looks great when it has no details interfering so that will be perfect for you. You should also do the rear bumper reflectors as well.

Alpine white. I unpacked the reflectors yesterday (nice packing job!) and thought they looked grey! But in the outdoor light they match the car. Will try to install them today. The pics you posted make the result look great.

The grill looks painted - is it?

Very nice. AW looks so good on the X5. This car is not mine, just found it on a search. It looks like all the grills and trim in the front end are completely blacked out. With the full titanium front probably looks amazing too. Post pics!

Installation was straightforward. But be careful heating the reflectors from the inside. There is a clip that holds the wheel mount to the bumper and it is made of plastic. It stretched/partly melted.

One of the reflectors didn't fit as snugly as the other but overall happy with the result. I think I'll pass on the clear reflectors now
