Tinting front windows to match rear

My 2008 X5 has the privacy glass feature for the rear windows and I wan to have the front driver and passenger tinted to match. Wondering if anyone happens to know what % it would be.

William.

Thanks!

I'm sure the tint shop will have a recommendation but I wanted to check here to see if there was a consensus or if someone had already figured it out.

William.

Actually it is 35%. Have the shop use their tint meter to be sure though..

I'm sure I will, it looks kinda off with the fronts not matching the back. Did you do 35% ?

have the tint shop use the meter to determine the exact value on the rear, then u can match correctly

I know it was 20% on my old TrailBlazer. The rear's look similar to that on the X's. I'm going to say 20% but I don't know for sure.

35%, in my experience as a tinter, would be too light.
