X5 E70 - brakes
There is a very good "how to" in the E36 forum on brakes ...... does anybody have a similar procedure for the E70?.....or are they the same ?? Just struck jackpot .... both front and back brake lights have come on..... so rotor and pads this time around..had only the pads done the 1st time ... I would like to have a go at it myself as paying a dealer just hurt$ too much. Thanks Hans |

Here we go: DIY brake job
I recommend Zimmermann brand coated rotors. Take your pick on the pads. And don't forget the brake sensors, front AND rear! "URO" brand works fine and is affordable.
