how many rivets are needed for a wheel arch trim swap?

I have the wheel arches, but need to run to the dealer to get some rivets.

Does anyone know how many are needed? I have neither the X5 nor the arches with me to count!

off the top of my head I believe its about 7 per arch...I vaguely remember because I took my mud guards off the rear the other night.

there are 2 different rivets... the white ones are reuseable because they slide in - 2 or 3 of those so I think you just need to account for like 5 black each, but I'll let someone else confirm.

I did mine not too long ago. Went to the dealer and bought 28 rivets: 7 each arch.

I forgot to reply after I counted the other day.

The white reusable ones are only in the rears. Fronts need 9, rears need 7. So 32, for pre-LCI anyway.

I remember when I bought the arches, it didn't come with enough. It was secure enough though.

Thank you ver much.

Wheels and tires should be delivered today... Arches will be installed in a day or so. Detail Friday!
