LOL Yes... I am sure I'm opening it correctly. I'm sliding it back to open it and it goes not quite half way and stops. I push it again for it to go the rest of the way, but the motors runs and nothing happens.

What clear sticker on the windshield?

///M, its good that you are loving your e70

iDrive on 2010s and up is far more superior, but who needs that if you love your iDrive now?

I believe folding mirrors can be programmed so that when you lock your car, they fold automatically... as well as closing the windows remotely of course...

Yes, the 2010+ iDrive is awesome.

I don't think I can program the mirrors on the 2008. At least I know I can through iDrive.

No...

I can't decide what I want to do. I haven't fallen in love with any of the wheels I've seen like I did with the 87's on the E53.

I'm leaning toward 214s, but still not 100% sure.

im sorry, i forgot to mention you can only do it outside of the dealership...

there is a member here (lex99frc) from NY that will do it for $50, been planning to get it myself, but been very busy modding my 05 330i ZHP...

and for the wheels, i know your are not a fan of replicas, but have you seen X6 ///Ms reps rims on an e70?

For $50 it's definitely worth it!

No... I haven't seen them! Linky?? I'm not a fan of replicas, but I'm not counting them out.

Yup! Nothing like sitting at a traffic light waiting to turn and everyone facing you thinks your fog light is burnt out.

Have you seen the new AEs?! They are sooo hawt!
Yes! I love it! Makes mine look plain

I overall think the E70's interior is just as nice as the E53's. However the creaking/cracking sounds annoy me. It's much more modern which I love. Be careful where you lean you arm because combined with the seat belt hitting it my driver's side door wood trim is starting to crack

...Mich, imo the 214s may be the finest wheel for E70s.

Yes, I agree, the E70's interior is much more modern. Taken modern out of the equation, the interior and leather just have a more plasticy/vinyl feel than the E53.
