Possible A/C problem

My passenger A/C vent never blows as cold as the drivers side.
I have it set to full cold and it only blows coolish are whereas the drivers side of the center vent can blow rather cold air.

When starting out, it takes much longer for the passenger side to even start blowing the cool air.

Might my passenger vent adjustment mechanism be off? It doesn't seem to effect the temp like the drivers side setting does. I have checked every setting many times.

Same screens as the shortcut buttons. On full cold, the passenger side is not cold at all.

Has anyone else had this issue?

It's not the a/c or the vents. It's the programing of the climate control. Take it to the dealer.

Keep the ac on max and feel the dash of the passenger side… if anything but the vent is getting cold… that's when the vent is out of order.

I took the X5 in for service on the A/C and a state inspection. They found the refrigerant 30% low. He claimed the system will sacrifice the passenger and rear systems first if its low. That's why I felt the passenger side warmer.

They found no leaks so we'll see if it stays fixed. Good timing too with days in the mid 90s already..

PS: I recall thinking last fall when I bought it that the system didn't seem as good as previous BMWs. I wonder if it was low from the factory?

Did the recharge fix your issue? Mine blows stronger from the driver's side center vent than from the passenger side center vent.
