E70. "Clunking" sound from all sides
I've been doing a lot of traveling (by air) recently so haven't been driving it that much. I definitely notice 'clunking' sounds from all four wheels when driving around though. Sounds a lot like a 12-year old Honda, that I had 20 years ago, that needed new CV boots but can't believe that is the problem. Going to have to take it into the dealership before the warranty expires but anyone experiencing anything similar? I do have the 20" run-flat tires (which obviously don't make for the smoothest ride) but it's more the 'clunking' sound that is so obvious. |

I had the same problem I believe, the truck would make clunking noises coming from the front suspensin, mainly happened when I would slow down on a mildly bumpy/wavy road. Took it in and they said they replaced all of the swaybar bushings, and eventually they replaced the electronic swaybar. Noise is gone now. 08 E70 20inch rims sport package.

@spacegreyx
Thanks for that info! It really helps as I my X5 says it's time for a service anyway. Now I can tell them what it might be. |
