Steering wheel hums/vibrates

I just started experiencing a slight hum/small vibration in the steering wheel when im turning on an incline at slow speeds. It almost feels like its a "lane departure" warning. Keep in mind that my 2010 doesn't have the lane departure option so that rules that out.

Anyone else heard of or experienced this? It doesn't happen every time I turn the wheel at slow speeds so its hard to bring back to the dealer to recreate the issue. Its a faint hum that you can hear more than you can feel it.

My 2010 X5 did that and after three trips to the dealer they lubed the steering column and the problem went away.
