it can be many things - sit in the back of yours while someone else is driving and listen for it. AD shouldn't have anything to do with it.

There have been several posts about rattling rear tailgates...what makes you think it is an Adaptive Drive issue??????

My xdrive48i had ad.... And my X5m (or the damper) has it... But my xdrive35i sport pack doesnt have it and it feels like there is more body flex and squeaks/rattles. I fixed about 85% of it by putting pads and black sponges... Now the rubber part on the door is squeaking. I drove my friends Xdrive50i with sport pack and ad... It was perfect..

Confused.
For the sake of argument, lets say 237 people say "I have Adaptive Drive" and out of them three say "I have a rattling sound, but car handles great"... does that help?!?! |
