Seriously, what are the chances

Of three warning signals in one week?

Engine coolant warning on Friday. Cracked radiator that needed to get replaced.

Left side brake bulb malfunction yesterday. Replace the bulb
Right side brake bulb malfunction today. Need to replace the bulb

I swear the car is messing with me since my 4 year warranty expired on Monday and is taunting me with the "ding" sound just to make me freak out.

I've never had two bulbs blow out so close to one another.

My theory is that BMW installs a self destruct feature for when warranty expires lol.

You're lucky that besides radiator, you had no major issues

I've been in the shop a bunch, but pretty minor stuff tonged fixed under warranty.

On a side note, today I read about a diag tool called carmd. Anyone own one? Figure it would be good to be able to diag an error if it popped up, before going to the dealership

^^ There a a bunch of generic OBD code readers, HOWEVER, they can be limited on BMW codes. If you are spending more than $50, buy one that reads AND INTERPRETS the "BMW Specific" codes.

Thanks for the reply ard. Know of any good ones that interprets bmw codes? Bavarian Autoparts has one made by Launch, but it's around $180. Just wondering if there's one around the $100 mark that works well with our cars.

edit: I also see that it looks like the Burger cable is the best for seeing all codes, including hidden. I am down for spending the extra money on the best, just wondering if it would work on a Mac since all of my laptops are Macs.
